Hi everyone, i have relisted this again really do need it gone as its taking up a lot of space having my new car around. I have lowered the reserve price to £1800.

I had a remap done on my 172, it has matched inlets decat, panel filter and that made 177 once finished. I though it was fast before the remap, different car now in general driving and when booting it. Go to RS Tuning in leeds cost me £346 but worth every penny and they know what there doin.
That was my ph1 with the yellow bits, was a good weekend. Wet laps on the ring can be a bit hair raising at times, but nice when you get a dry one.

I recently went down to RS Tuning, they found a couple of faults. 1st being that a bracket literally above the knock sensor was chattering causing the timing to be altered quite a lot, and last the new plugs that i fitted very recently had gone faulty.

On my ph1 172 it has developed a slight missfire at around 1.5k on very light throttle, it has be parked up for a week while I was away on holiday and since I have been back it has started missfiring.
Is there a common-ish sort of fault as I am due to take my car up to RS...
Theres a guide around here somewhere telling you how to fit them.
Personally I wouldnt go without them now, they make a huge difference to the general drive of the car but in a good way. I did get a bit more vibration from the car but after a 1000 or so miles this slow went away to almost nothing.
got the mounts fitted to mine and yes there is a little bit of vibration at first mine has settled down now its done a few more miles but can still be felt ever so slightly. The drive is so much better though more reponsive and no jerkyness from the engine at low speeds.
I got ktecs front discs and red stuff pads, got back from the nurburgring 2 weeks ago and they were spot on all the way round the 13mile track on every lap. Looks nice to.
I had the exact same on mine the roof was only resprayed 2months ago aswell, really worried me but a good hard polish with a bit of turtle wax did the job.

My clio used to do this sometimes before i changed the pads, as the old ones must have just been a tad bit small than the carrier they sit in causing them to knock up and down when goin forwards and backwards sometime. Changed the pads and the noise went.
Iv removed mine all i done was block all the pipes up and remove sensor from the top of canister can be a bit hard to remove and you gotta be careful so you dont damage it, but just leave it plugged in otherwise it may cause the eml light to come on after a while.
They are dead easy to fit, if it the powerflex ones u went for then they have copper plaste supplied with it just stick that in and it slides straight in.
If they dont do a good paint job then i will see that and send it away to be sorted out.
I look after my car always letting it warm up before it gets driven hard, most engine wear happens when its cold anyways. Like others have said gearboxs can be fragile so dont want them damaging it so it...
