I defiantly feel a kick at 5K especially in 2nd & 3rd, so much so that I have to hold the steering wheel tight as it tends to lose traction and wants to put in a ditch!
Just a general question really, just wanted to know how much it's costing other people to own and run their Clio?
My monthly costs are as follows,
Loan repayment - £180
Insurance - £90
Petrol - approx £120 - £150
Total: approx £400
So what are your monthly costs?
Ain't normal no. Pull your head unit out and check the antenna ports securely in and all the other connections before considering a new head unit, unless you just want a new one anyway.
Gonna be buying some new brake discs next week, already got some Ferodo DS2500 pads and just wondered what the general census was on which one's I should go for.

Not too sure what the problem is but mine has always done this since I bought the car last year. Strangely it only does it after it's been raining or I've washed it, so basically when the engine bay get's wet :S

That's the one mate, was gonna go for the Ultra performance one but didn't want something too loud and also wanted the slash cut tail pipes.
It's defiantly louder than standard but not OTT.
I just got the KTR supersports exhaust fitted this morning to my 182 and I can defiantly feel an increase in performance, but then again my old exhaust was practically hanging off and full of holes so there was a noticeable loss of power over the last couple of months. So it really just depends...
Same this happens on mine and I thought it was the windscreen rubber but its actually coming from the centre heater vents. Still haven't figured out how to stop it yet but I ain't too fussed as I rarely go over 100, my front drive ain't quite long enough;)
As Da posted you can't plug your Ipod or mp3 player directly into headunit, you'll need an adapter like this,

Found this on another post for ya,
"t mean an injection fault has been detected for a minimum of 4 seconds
J means a fault has been noted on the fuel gauge. It must have disconnected for longer than 100 seconds. The resistance from the fuel tank sensor needs to be between 5 and 350 Ohms.
d...
Yeah may have to check my rad then at the weekend. Car was only serviced a month ago and the rad was "apparently" checked then and the coolant changed. I've been in a few 1*2s though and the temp gauge has always been the same when hot, just above halfway:S. Guess its better to be safe than...
Once hot mine constantly sits just slightly above halfway and so does a mate's of mine. It doesn't drop until the engines switched off, so I don't think it's normal for it to dropping and rising.
Basically the petrol light on my clio has just decided to come on even though the fuel gauge is showing that I have quarter of a tank left. Up until today it's been working fine and the petrol light would only come on when the fuel gauge was in the red.
Also the trip computer is showing the...
Sounds like it maybe the rear bearings, OEM rear brake discs come with the bearings pressed in so it maybe just a case of buying some new discs.
I ain't no pro though so I maybe wrong, sure another member will come up with more suggestions.
4" haha, you'll have to check it every morning because they'll probably be a small animal sleeping in there. Seriously though, 4" tailpipe on a clio will just look daft IMO.
Buying a stainless steel cat back system soon and just wanted to know if there would be much noise difference between a silence or unsilenced centre section?
I'm wanting something a bit louder than the standard exhaust but not excessive.
Going to be purchasing a Janspeed exhaust in the next couple of weeks for my 182 but just a bit unsure on which one to go for. The Sports System with silenced centre section or Supersports with straight through centre section.
I'm wanting something a bit louder than the standard exhaust but not...
OK thanks guys, I'll probably go with the single silencer then, going to be fitting it myself so could do without it been a pain to fit.
Just 1 more question though do you know if the tail pipes are slash cut on the single silencer version as there's no mention of it on the website and its...
Well the standard exhaust is on it's last legs so i've been looking around for something new.
After a bit of research I think i'm going to go with the RS192, but it looks as though there two versions of the scorpion exhaust.
and
Does any one know if there are any major...
If you've got 6K to spend i'd look for one with a fairly low mileage. Bought mine a few months back for 6k and only had 26K on the clock. Just keep looking around until you find a decent one. Also like other people have mentioned make sure the belts have been done, if not get them to drop the...
