hi all
driving along tonight and my dipped beam just stopped working:S 300 miles from home in the dark......not good
still got full beam, fogs and side lights.
any1 no how to fix this or what it could be?
iv checked fuses ect but all seems fine, not had a look under bonnet as its was dark...
sometimes when i have my headset on my controller and headset disconnect then i have to plug my controller in the usb to get it to work or i just get flashing lights, the headset wont work untill i turn the consol off at the back and back on again ect
any1 no how to stop this happening...
if its damaged coz of a pot hole and the hole is more than 6cm deap take pic with tape measure and proof from garage what needs to be done and get hold of the council they'll pay out. thats if its not the shovel in the boot lol
i wouldnt have thought so, might be wrong? battery would make a clicking noise, well did on my mrs car.
limp mode usuall suspects=
cam sensor
throttle body
coil pack.
the list goes on.
does sound like breaks, fitted wrong by any chance? when i got my 172 some c**k fitted them and i had the same problem till i got it serviced and they told me.
i got a new hazzard button and its stoped mine, buy one from a scrappy for f**k all even if it dont work its better than spendin £130 on youe UCH

check drainage holes under the sills mine got blocked with sand or gritty s**t and gave me a duck pond in the car, i poked mine with a fork tooth, theres 3 along the inner sill, there only tiny.
when they go off do they still flash wen the engine is turned off?? i took the hazzard fuse out and the hazzard button was still flashing but no lights but got a new switch and sorted it so far.
oh forgot to say, i took the fuse out and when the hazzard switch stopped flashing about 10mins later i put the fuse back in got about 10 mile down the road and it done it again.
i dissconnected the hazzard button but the hazzards was still flashing would that still happen if its a UCH fault?? sorry for sounding daft but whats a UCH??
thanks for your replies.
hi
i was driving to france yesterday, put on the full beam and the hazzards came on then went off again and so on but then they came on and stayed on, driving down the motorway (not good)
pulled over pulled the fuse out to stop it and carryed on not gonna let it ruin the holiday but i noticed...
It is under the car near drivers side rear wheel. It will look like a small ish silver cylinder with two pipes either side.
on the 172 ph2 if thats the thing ur lookin for.
