A048's FTW.
Or best bet is always to have a second set of wheels, then stick some old tarmac rallye tyres on like N20's. Search ebay or the britishrally sale section.
I got my N20's for £120 2nd hand, did 3 full aggressive days on them, then sold them on for £150 with a couple more days in them!
Not think there is some truth in the statement? Lighter wieght, no ABS, no creature comforts, wider track, stiffer shocks, lighter wheels. Sound like a normal road car?
Granted its somewhere between a road car and a track car but its still close to a road going track car from the factory?
Not...
I'd say the weight makes a fair difference, plus the obvious increase in power (all be it minimal).
In my 182 if i am by myself on a run to London i get 46-47, did the same run with 2 passengers and a boot full and got 38! so its all relative
Ph1's are butch at the front but the rear ends are poo.
The question you asked is which is a better base, this would be the cup. Which is more financially viable and potentially sensible would be the Ph1. But lets not forget the cup is an 'out of the box' track car. Go enjoy it and mod as you go
Yeah just spoke to Rindy, all still cool with the 7th. I doubt i'll bother putting mine on unless its for a before and after on the JMS induction setup.
Looking good guys. Hopefully there will be around 15-20 all in all.
I have NO idea what car i will have at the time. Keep getting dirty DC2 thoughts...
