Well thanks to everyone whos replied so far, looks like this a really good forum / club, I think I am probably going to go for the Koni's as I don't think the shocks have ever been changed and konis will be a bit of an upgrade at the same time.

The belts are the first thing i am going to get done, theres a renault specialist down the road who should know what he's doing I have a receipt that they were done at 55k but now its done 94k so its over due! 36k i think they should be done at.

I think most things on my clio are pretty worn! engine is good though but car in general needs some tlc. I will have to get it jacked up and check out the bushes. thanks

Is it worth getting a set of poly pushes to put on at the same time? I have read some threads that say they squeak and need oiling?

I had this problem on the seat leon except the door locks are tied into seats so called convience feature where all the windows come down. Happened in the middle of the night in the rain storm! :dead: Anyway the fix was a new drivers door lock module and its been fine since, just a suggestion...
