hahaha no way! only just seen this! I've owned the car for ages and its been on the path for around 2 years .... finally got it back on the road this week ... needed whole new set of hoses ...(a hell of a lot of elbow grease)... 4 new tyres ... new exhaust and some new disks and...
thinking it may be the suspension when i put the car near full lock (dry steering) there is a loud clunk, i have coilovers fitted which were on the car when i bought it and think they are wound down all the way ... could this be the issue?

Ive got a split in the top pipe of the 2 that goes into the heater matrix, now am i right in believing the plastic clips you just pinch and pull hard ... done this to the point of passing out and they still wont budge!

this may sound like a stupid question but my 172 appears to have a burst coolant pipe, the pipe is the thick pipe coming out of the bulkhead does anyone know where i can get this part to replace? unsure of the actual part name to be able to order it?
i know its a bland question just...
Thanks - i only ask because i bought a replacement standard exhaust for a 172 .. (i own a cup) and the centre section to the back box had the same flange so was physically impossible to fit?
bought a replacement backbox from a guy off here, went to fit it and it doesnt fit? - both the end of the centre section and the exhaust have the raised bit at the end so they dont slide into eachother (sorry if this doesnt make sense) can anyone help?

i had a 172 - then went to a jap (subaru) - now back to a clio cup (all in the space of 10 months) - moving out had something to do with it but i was putting about £450-£500 a month fuel in it and the clutch was replaced twice - reallll expense but like people have said if you can afford it and...
Hi Guys, just recently got my 172 cup - its been lowered on coilovers and that's pretty much it has anyone got any colour schemes or anything that looks subtle for the arctic 172's? it has turinis on it etc (in silver was thinking of putting them to anthracite) just want to see some ideas :)
if its any help i had a clio sport when i was 20 (my first) and it was £1300 fully comp just got insured on my second (172 cup) and im only paying £1000 think its down to your postcode bud
nope the first one i bought was a 3 plate paddle clutch (racing clutch) and i hated it then got an exedy organic clutch which was much better :) it wasnt that i shot them both it was just personal preference
haha - it wasnt so much the parts because it came with everything when i bought it it was the fuel - was mapped to 325bhp and me driving 30/40 miles a day that worked out at 20-30 quid a day - got home from whitby (140miles) on £20 in the clio :)

What did you use on your lights mate? - Scratch X? - wish my lights looked this good haha, i have a monaco wasn't to keen at first but love it now its clean :)
