Right today was one my best days in about 2 months... it passed it's MOT :cool: I ended up buying the top mounts from F1 Moto and they got fitted on Sunday... fitting them wasn't as hard as i thought actually and I tried my best to keep everything looking tidy and original-ish. I'll get some...

I like the way this is going! I'm not sure though, it's not the space/ mounts thats the issue, it's the gearbox etc. The reason the F7P is so popular is that it mates perfectly with the Volvo 340 1.7 gearbox and shafts. Would have to look into that though, how much is a decent F4R going for...

little update... After ranting for a few days I've calmed down and spoken to F1 Moto. So my new top mounts should be here by the weekend (fingers crossed). This is what they should look like: On a different note, I got my exhaust back from the garage today after they've cut out the middle box...

haha honestly i had so many facepalm moments yesterday! yeah i'll take some pics once i'v finished work :)

i fitted them yesterday, just haven't wound them down yet lol. theres a couple of niggles i need to sort before im completely happy with them, for instance whether you need bearings inbetween the top mount and top of the coilover. also i had to grind off about 1cm of top mount to get them on...

hopefully you'll love it even more when its chassis scrapin' :)
