mines the same, really loud and quite annoying! so i took it off cut the top off took all the loose rattley baffles out and welded the top back on! while it was off i welded all the weak spots like the hanger and the pipe, its alot better now and gives a nice note after removing the baffles!

there just springs! with standard shocks! on abit of a budget at the moment! just want to sort the camber out so i dont scrub through s**t loads of tyres!!!

hi guys im lowering my 2002 172 i have bought a set of 60mm lowering springs to put on untill i can afford coilovers, will there be any issues i should be aware of when fitting them and will i have any problems after such as . . . . driveshafts CV joints rubbing (standard 16's) etc cheers...

Im getting my dephasor pully changed next week and need to buy the parts for the mechanic. Got a guy form renault doing it for £250 all done! What will i need to buy edsactly! Dephasor pully Cam belt kit Aux belt kit Water pump i was told i might need some new pipes or somthing? cheers...

looking thru a few threads and im guessing it could be a resistor or transistor? where is the unit or what ever it is that contains these resistors/transistors i havent had the car long so havent learnt much or explored!! cheers guys

i think thats what i need but it sound like the "tractor noise" is comming from the top of the engine, as in the cams! im scared to drive it! what kind of money am i look at spending to do the dephasor pully and parts (roughly)?? cheers

ive taken the plastic cover off and it sounds like its in the top of the engine but its hard to tell!

on tickover my 172 sound like its got low oil making a kinad knocking noise, but when you give it a small rev it gives a small vibrating noise and goes away. ive just given it an oil change, new oil, filter and plug gasket. it was run fairly low on oil (2 bars on the digi dash) but not for...
