"Mat, Im laughing with you!
As I work for Renault I get a massive discount, UK spec car, full 3yr warranty and all the documentation.
Plus my resale value!
No Probs!
Bob RTE"
I think the fact that I dont work for Renault is reason enough to laugh!
...warranty documents you have to send off to them to get the three year warranty?
Im selling my car and dont know whether to put it on the Autotrader website today or wait until Renault return everything (will post them tomorrow).
How long did it take them to return your stuff?
Thanks,
Stu.
Cheers, Id better get it done then.
Am i right in thinking you need to send-
Copy of V5
Original sales invoice showing date of purchase
Copy of stamp from service book or back page with the number on
Utility bill showing address
Stu.
Do you still need to bother to send your documents to Renault (V5, invoice of sale, etc) to get a three year warrenty?
Im selling it soon so better get it done sharpish if it is required.
Stu.
Im selling my 02 172 soon which is a Euro import from Motorpoint (paid £11700ish).
Ive been looking on Autotrader and there doesnt seem to be any difference in used prices between the two (in fact hardly anyone even mentions Uk/import).
Has anyone had any dealings with buying/selling 172s...
Exactly GR.
So much rubbish posted over 10mph, does it really matter whether a 106/Clio can do 130, 140, 150? Obviously it does to willy waving children.
Stu.
Has anyone used a speed camera detector (not the GPS type) successfully in a 172? I can remember vividly that someone on here said that the special windscreens stop them from working properly. They where having problems mounting it close enough to the little square that isnt heat reflective to...
They dont have to supply it. Though if you noticed this before you bought it im sure they would of thrown it in saving you £160-odd.
Too late now though :(

Well it might not be a problem, im just wondering if they all do it.
When you cycle between tuner/cd change/headunit cd, it seem to remember what volume you had last time you where listening to it. eg. if you are listening to the radio at volume 10, change to cd put it at volume 20, then go...

I admit I was a little harsh in my first post, but my thoughts are the same.
"11pm on a dual carrigeway is about as sensible as it gets"
and....
"high speeds on a wet surface with little room to brake!!"
...and with two mates in, if thats is you being as sensible as it gets, id hate to...
