What kind of Rms should you be lookin at? I heard around 45 would give a good sound but mite be wrong. Wot are the standard speakers rms and wattage anyone?

Just took mine off. I had the scorpian decat pipe. IMO it didn't really make a massive deal of difference to sound level just changed the note to more of a raspy one. So I'm just gettin a custom exhaust system instead.

Ok, does anybody know the size of the rear silencer used on the yozzasport and ktec systems? I have a scorpion decat pipe aswell but dnt think I'm goin to use it as it will be way too loud! So think that's going to go on eBay lol

when i fitted my decat the light would come on and go off every now and again. its now just allways on but it hasnt affected my mpg's at all. but its m.o.t time so i need to do a switch back to the normal cat. thats the only thing annoying about them! lol but suppose it only comes around once a...

does removing the acoustic valve cause any warning lights to come on etc? or is it just a pointless 'blockage' lol

cant see the decat pipe making ht amount of difference that it causes you to spin the wheels? iv nver heard of this hppening on other models decatted but im probably wrong :) lol

well that has just put a serious smile on my face! haha. i can see how in theory it could drop with increased gas flow and therefore fuel buring more quickly and bla bla bla but with steay right foot u can drive ost things efficiently!

well im currently getting around 32-34mpg and thats with driving it steady with a few ocasional blasts everynow and then. i think mpg mainly drops as people jus nail it more due to better sound.

its not a case of being too tight its just using what you got :P ! could afford a maxogen but just dont see the point in spending sooo much money for such little gains eg probs 2 more bhp compared to other, cheaper filters.

bought my decat today! fitting it sometime this week.

no its ok lol. it looked to be a track car replica as opose to a police one. light was different on top! well kitted out tho :P haha

thanks for the replies! il try all the sugestions tommorow! from having a look at figures it shouldnt be much trouble getting it to fit. and greeny 172 why will it be losing bhp? arnt all the cones frm K&N the same pretty much just different pipe sizes?
