if you were at santa pod the time would have been much lower crail is hard to get a fast time due to the grip levels.

Less weight on your last run with less petrol! Good time mate i done a 15.0@95 at crail couple weeks ago with half tank and poor traction off the line. It would be good to see how mine compares against the 172 cup.

cheap mods dontgive more power! Buy the best to get more power Exhaust I would go for Scorpian Rs192 exhaust it and yozza are the 2 best systems. But you would be looking at 1.5k to get some power!

Remap doesnt need to be fastchip any good one will do avoid generic mapping. If you have a 172 then go for inlets matched. But to be honest its nots going to be hugely different unless you spend more ££.

183hp at the wheels afterwards? seems a tad high

Neither go for turbo! For a fast road setup you cant beat it ;)

A remap on a astra vxr woulnt see 270bhp mate they dont produce book power i have seen one with remap and charge cooler made 241bhp at the fly

could be a gearbox out job that aint cheap did you buy car privately or from a dealer?

I have 428,s fitted with all the extras remap ,mathed inlets etc. Before it was mapped i didnt really notice much difference after the remap for the cams definetly improvment i am now pulling away from teg type r,s hope that helps apparantly tho c&b are a better choice. Pm sideways danny he...

Just had a look mate it looks as if there was an error in the timing there possibly mis match between yourselfs down to human error when the guy that puts the times on to the database he got them mixed up :mad:

No the times are right mate what happend there is that you won the race as your reaction time would have been quicker but he did the 1/4 quicker than you they dont add the reaction times to the race.

You raced me and won ? or are you talking about the silver clio with wings on it :D. My cams were fitted by someone i know and trust who has stripped a 1*2 engine before it was then mapped by powertune in motherwell. Just to let you guys know 2.4 to 60ft isnt good grip a clio should be 2.2...

what is the c&b profile spec?

come on danny boy with the money he would spend to do it with the labour cambelt etc he could just trade/sell his car for a 1*2 you no it makes sense ;)

I wouldnt bother doing this on the 1.6 pal just save your money and trade it in for a 1*2
