I did the same last year, and result is just like yours. I used wet sanding paper 1000, 1500 and 2000, and after all that plastic polish. It took me about 4 hrs of work and galons and galons of water. :-)

Is that 16" or 15" wheels. I have the first 2001 version (with orange side repetitors) and I have 15".

OK, we have cleaned throttle body and the problem remains. Tommorow we will try to change a sensor on the throttle body. What next if that doesn't help?

Hi guys, What do you think, what could be the problem here? This happens only in cold weather. Revs go up and down from 300 - 1800 rpm. After about 2 min all is fine. PS. I didn't press gas pedal at all this time. Sometimes I press gas pedal to keep revs on 1500 and then it "calms down" after...

Hm, mine is from 11/2001 and have a red starting from 7250. Strange. My rev limiter is on 7300 cca. (all stock). Yours?

How come that your CS has a red on rev meter starting at 6750 rev/min. Mine is from 7333 rev/min.

I have just put it...it took me about 2,5 hrs. Here's some pic: Bumper down: This is to remove (is this what you call "acoustic valve"?) I had to cut this metal plate so that tube can go trough: Cutted: Filter on place: CAF: The horn is pressing it slightly so it can't move...

I will try to remove acoustic valve, but if it's too much trouble I will sell BMC, to much pain in the ass just for filter. :-(

Hi guys, I recently bought BMC CDA filter and still haven't install it because I don't know where to mount CAF pipe because there's no space at all. Does anybody have some pics to help me where to put it. Thanks
