Tried to acknowledge you but just assumed that now you have the Vx I wasnt worth a wave ;)
I would have waved but thought you might be wondering why I was waving :) since I wasnt in a clio or sporting a cliosport badge.
There were loads of chavd up cars.
The 2 clios would know who they are as we were right next to them. Was a black 182 following a black mk1 172 in the middle lane during traffic.
Didnt see any trophy.

Would love to see them, this is the first cliosport trip I didnt go on (only cause I no longer have the clio)
<a href= "mailto:cliosport@tonylawrence.com">cliosport@tonylawrence.com - cheers !
I have one for sale, used it in my 172 fr about 6 months for my Sony MD head - worked with steering stalk and remote display, I assume this is the same adapter? Worked with my MP3 changer too.
Mines a Connects2UK adapter - PM if interested or want more details?

Big ? Me? LMAO no Im just ancient :D
Oops, sorry, didnt mean to imply anything
Ive considered the exact thing as you and I collect my black vx220 turbo tomorrow :D
Althought, Id love a red v6 (lucky bugger mike!) the thing that swung it for me is that I had a 172 and inside they are very similar - I wanted the new car to be more different.
If I wanted a boot, bit of...
You have to get them painted, I had my drivers side nicked so had to get new ones. £150 supplied, painted and fitted (thats one complete side).
This is for the rear quarter bit...
77 01 052 476 SIDE EMELLISHER 14.84 + vat
77 01 047 661 CLIP .50 x 10 +vat
I use autoglym wheel cleaner - used to use wonder wheels but as Chris said it seemed a little harsh so now using autoglym, that may still be a bit harsh too.

Look forward to seeing the new beast mate :D
Did contemplate coming to the meet in Telford as I still havent seen yours but I read that you are away so Ill probably skip it, no doubt we shall meet at somepoint.
Thats right, spent Sunday giving my 172 its final clean before we part company on Saturday, my plates are ready to come off and its all clean and shiny. Gonna miss that car it was great fun (when it worked) and the new owner is family so I will still get to see it (drive it) on the odd occasion.
To buy new:
Changer is about £165 (best price I found)
Adapter is about £50
Headunit is too old to be worth anything (still pretty good tho)
Offers above £100 (exc p&p) as there is a changer on ebay at £95 with 2days left so if no interest ill ebay it.
Ive had this about 6 months and due to changing my car I need to get rid of it. I fitted it where the original renault 6disc changer fits under passenger seat.
This is in perfect condition and still boxed.
Also have a Sony MD headunit AND Connects2UK adapter to allow the use of the remote...
Thanks, I spoke to Paul Williams at R-Sport this morning and he said that I could get Renault London West (dealer where car is) to give him a call as he thought it was due to a fault. And speaking to Renault UK is probably a good idea if things go bad.
Heres hoping, Ive done 22.5K miles and had clutch judder for the last 1K. My only concern is that the fluid in the clutch (causing the judder) might have exscaped as I got a load of smoke out the car on one gear change before a little before the clutch died.
I know nothing about clutches...
Has anyone had a clutch replaced on warranty?
Had my car serviced at R-Sport last week and he said that the clutch judder I was having was probably a fault with the unit and if so would be replaced on warranty.
Unfortunately I went to a VX meet at the weekend and the clutch died on me so is...
Looking at it closer I does seem as tho someone has stolen it. The metal hole nearest the door is slightly bent to Im guessing they pulled it from here and then slid it out.
Least there is no paint damage, might claim it on insurance if its expensive.
I dont have anything thats not in that picture.
Will have a closer look tonight to see if there is any damage, Im guessing if its been pulled off then the hole surrounds will be a little bit bent?

Drive back along the route and look for it? if you find it, itll properly not be any good to put back on but at least it would have solved your mistery.
I did have a look on the way home but as the journey was part dual carriage it was...
Its hard to tell in the piccy (from phone) but Im pretty sure there is no damage the the car and as the door would always be closed there seems there is NO way the strip can be removed without damage with the door closed?
Weird, I, pretty sure it was there when I left the house and then 5 minutes to the garage it had gone, I hadnt left the car either so it either fell off or I didnt notice it was missing when I left. :(
Any ideas on the cost or replacement?
Drove my car to the garage last night to get some fuel and when I got there I noticed I didnt have a rear bump strip (see pic).
