Megane sluggish when accelerating, sometimes cuts out when starts up first time (not always from cold) & is emitting a strange smell (not like rotton eggs) - could this be blocked cat? Ideas? :S

I have a problem with my Renault Megane; it seems to pop out of second gear occasionally. There is a lot of play in 4th & reverse as well. Am I looking at a new gearbox or just adjusting the shifter linkage? Cheers! :D

My nearside headlamp aim is too low- can anyone advise me how to rectify this?

My 172 has just failed it's MOT (test station does not carryout repairs) with a front coil spring fracture. Is this easy to fix yourself or would you recommend sticking it in a garage to be repaired?

I need to have my 172's engine mounts replaced & was just wondering if you could give me an approx cost of how much im looking at, so as not to get ripped off... being a lady! lol :o Cheers

I wonder if anyone else has the same problem as me; My 172 makes a loud vibrating noise/sensation @ 5k RPM + when accelerating hard. Any ideas as to what this could be much appreciated
