I was wondering about the airbag. The other alternative might be the wheel from the basic models of the Clio II, which wasn't a leather effect finish. I wonder if they melt?

Does anyone know if this is possible? It might be a solution to the melting wheel problem.

Our Clio had this prior to the windscreen being replaced the other day. It now has a normal flat rubber seal at the top of the windscreen as opposed to the plastic seal with the raised section in the middle. What is that raised part of the seal for? Should we have had another one fitted or has...

Just spoke to Renault Customer Services about the melted steering wheel on our four year old Clio. They don't want to know - they say they won't look at trim beyond the first year and that products used on the wheel or contact with perfumes, hand creams etc can cause warping of the material...

Anyone tried to cure the rattles? I found getting a load of dense foam and shoving it in the right places kills most of them. Also works with dealers.

I pulled the headlining forward just behind the sunroof handle and found a rubber seal just lying there on top of the headlining. I have since used it for some bits and bobs but I was wondering if it served some purpose or whether someone at the factory left it up there by mistake?

Been looking at Renault's website and there's no sign of the Clio Campus on there. Has the Clio II finally bit the dust?

How easy is it to change the steering wheel on the Clio II and does anyone know how much a new one would be from Renault? The finish on ours have gone all bobbly on the top.

Thought about that but then there would be no gate diagram on it.

The silver finish bit on the gearknob of our Clio Dynamique is faded and scratched to bits. Renault don't sell the insert part seperately - I have to buy a new gear knob apparantly. How do I change the knob?

Hi all, I snapped one of the clips on the gear gator of our 2004 Clio Dynamique. I'll probably try supergluing it down but are they easy to replace? Cheers! John
