I have been told the pressure is fine, and i should really know by now if it wasn't. The problem with changing the switch is that i won't know if that has resolved the problem, as the light has not come on for a while now anyway. But obviously i will change the switch anyway as it is the most...
i think it is castrol sport something... it hasn't come on in a while, since it has been dry actually. although im not suggesting the wet is triggering the problem
What car has he got??? Builders expanding foam is very tricky to get off any surface..... im sure the people on here might suggest a few places to put it, i would start deep in the exhaust if you dont want him to see it.

Every so often when driving my clio 182 the oil pressure and stop light comes on. Obviously this would mean the car has insufficient oil pressure, but the lights are intermittent and can stay on anywhere between a few seconds and half an hour :S. I can't see how you can have...
