Being honest, I brought a brand new set of the k-tec coilovers, and for the price they're faultless. Ride fine in the front (a bit firm in the back I heard). Handle well once set up proper too. The car sits much better too. But if you do, look after them, wax the struts and spray grease the...
Hey guys,
My OEM tweeters have started struggling and the crackling noise they are emitting is driving me insane. Ive been looking into getting new 13cm components and wiring them up to the Alpine CDE9887 ive got fitted.
Ive had an Alpine MRP-T220 amp sitting in my bedroom for a while now...
Cool. No I was in the work van at the time. The car looked like it was in pretty good nick to be fair and its nice to see a car similar to your own. On the other hand, I hope you had a very good reason for being in a hurry as your driving was pretty bloody poor.
Was following you round the one way system. A Black Gold '54' 182. The driver looked fairly young with a pale blue shirt on. Had a subtle aftermarket exhaust on too. Are you on ClioSport?
Renault are not going to make the belts and pulleys are they. They will be supplied to them and packaged in Renault boxes. Companies such as gates and dayco are certified oem equipment suppliers and should be very similar quality. Though I wouldn't have thought RenaultSport price is that far out...
This proba my won't be of any use to you marry but I've got a piper on my 182 and I love it. The build quirky is superb, and the noise it makes is fantastic. Was an easy straight fit and not one problem has arisen. Danny@519 sells them and fits them if required too. They are awesome exhausts...
Power flex offer upgraded bushes in all the important areas, including: dogbone mount, inner arb, outer arb and wishbones. They may increase the feedback you feel and tighten everything up over standard bushes slight, but they won't increase comfort.
They look spot on! Just out of curiousity, how much did you roughly pay as silsoe is just down the road from me. You should come get some photos with me and Jordan one day.
Try it, see if you like it? Any induction kit like that would require heat shields to make em even remotely worthwhile. But there's a profit to be had there either way.
I get my oil changed every 6k so around twice a year with Danny@519. Elf oil and genuine filter used every time and costs little more than it would for a retail customer to purchase a good quality filter and oil. Lots of people neglect their cars oil, and as Danny said, changing your oil...
I used to sell and fit these. I don't even have a child yet I still question why you'd even contemplate an unknown corner shop brand. £25.00 to save your child's life? Really? Do you think it's going to work? But because it's made in France, that makes it ok. I learnt about a whole range if car...
Lol I got an angry message from one of them in appealing english. I think there's an angry looking DIY graffiti monster hiding under one of those bonnets.
Honestly, these aren't hard to fit at all. They're well built units that tend to be a plug and play item, especially in a 182 where it has the standard traditional wiring and not a can-bus system. Hardest part is making it look smart, hiding the wires and getting everything to fit behind the...
H&R's have bilstein internals, and are highly rated, especially for road use but they are prone to rust. Bilsteins are being designed in cup fitment but they won't be adjustable in terms of damping. As said, Danny@519 have brought out some spax shocks which have two different rear setups with...
