This thread forced me to go and look at prices for dci 85's........suprisingly cheap!
This thread has also made me think I kinda prefer the simple style of the non-sports! Some lovely cars!
I didn't know that you could even get a 2 litre dynamique!! If you get it looking anything like those photoshops it will be AWESOME!
Really love the colour
Absolutely gutted for you such a shame!! Have you a pic with it back on its wheels? The damage may not be to bad.
I don;t understand the amount of people who have flipped cars. I'm so scared of rolling my car haha.
Wish I hadn't been working yesterday!! I would have loved to have gone across to the lakes!! Lovely drive from here over to Keswick, via Alston and over Hartside.
Fab pics car looks ace!!
Thanks. It needs some work. Doesn't like 1st and reverse gear and sometimes cuts out when I pull upto a junction. Plus the arches are obviously starting to bubble (well it is a mk1 haha) and it has scratches and scrapes. But hey!! Its an 11yo car!! It'll will be mint when I'm done with it!!
Re: The story of a high mileage 172
You sir are an inspiration!! Love the fact you've seen past the miles and are maintaining this sweet 172. Have you had to switch oil when you service it now due to the mileage? Which grade of oil do you use?
Yeah I'm very tempted.... maybe some turbines....I might buy some and keep a hold of these Team Dynamics as well. The good thing about them is how light they are and a decent size as well!
After that I desperately need an interior as mine is gash!! Its absolutely wrecked!! After that I'm not sure..... Williams Wide track.....poly bushes, strutbrace, better brakes......who know's.....
Thanks peeps. Not sure whether to keep the wheels or swap them for some standard wheels. Going on monday to book it into the bodyshop to get the rear arches tidyed before they break through, and I need to get the gear linkages adjusted and greased.
I apologise for the rubbish photos. This is my '96 Clio vlalver owned it for coming up 26 hours now:D absolutely love it!! Needs a little bit of work but am over the moon with it!!
