opps neva had the cam tool. must have it nearly time up properly as it runs ok. funny side tho the girl friends just taken the car to wrk 60mls away an she got there ok. how much an where can i get one from?

ah pulley tool epic fail lol is. didn't have that! any pics of it an where can i get hold of 1. crank pin went in the right slot, horse shoe was tight goin in as cams were slightly out. car run fine tho

well after doin the belt and road testin. it didn't seem a quick top end wonderin if vvt needed settin up or am i talkin b****ks. the car idles an runs fine, just under acceleration don't feel as quick advise pls lol.

I started doing the belt on my 182 today n slackened off the exhaust pulley in able to get the cam lockin tool into place as wouldn't line up. don't no how far exhaust cam moved round. is all timeed up ok, would this have any effect on the vvt if that cam wasn't moved back to where it was b4?

you might be ok m8. i advise you get that aux belt changed before you try any thing else. try not driving it tho you don't want that belt snappin n wrappin round the cambelt, then could be major.

I got A RB 182 n halfords caliper paint an is spot on colour match. Don't normally go for halfods stuff but that i recommend.

i got both cambelt kit n aux belt kit for £229 inc VAT from Reno. I fitted it meself today n all runnin sweet thank god. An didn't us genuine lockin tool but still all good at the mo woohoo. 290 fitted is awesome Tompoms

I paid around £50 for mine, off MAC tools. Same here aint payin no1 that amount of money to change a belt.

Sound good too me couldn't be arsd to take engine out anyways. How long you reckon it'll take, as i've herd they r abit of a sh**y job?
