thanks. is it engine out job for the cambelt then? i can do discs and pads myself and probably the shocks, its just i dont have knowledge on parts prices for these cars (being a renault and all that).

had a diagnostics on my mrs 2001 1.4 16v today and it came back as the throttle body being faulty (causing it to rev on its own) could this really happen?! surely it must be a sensor inside the throttle body or something? or can it be fixed? any help would be appreciated! cheers
