it did a 12.9 1/4 mile when it had 203bhp and a knackered gearbox but we all want that little extra power, its what us boys are like :)

mine weighed in at 640kg but still has the heavy rear subframe and a full cage, in all fairness it doesnt handle as well as a real mini and is very twitchy/sensative at anything above 90mph because of the short wheel base and very wide track, it does suprisingly get the power down pretty well...

well its been a while since i updated this, i decided to fit some skunk 2 stage 2 cams to up the power a little more, i had to fit a rhicker head gasket just to make sure there were no clearance issues between pistons and valves so it dropped compression a little, end result was a healthy 226bhp ::

I bet that's great fun at suprising people I like doing the same in the mini but it's no sleeper like that ax which gives it away a bit

i just went at it and it turned out alright, I will say that whatever you think it's going to cost you then triple it and everything has to be made to fit and it's time consuming so if you want ease them I'd suggest sticking with the a series.
