I previously had a 328 (E46) and agree with what you said about your 325. Tho Clio is more chuckable, involving and puts a smile on your face. I love my 182 but I know one day I'll be going back to BMW!
There should be no reason - other than for dubious reasons - to remove a VIN plate - that is if one is fitted in the first place.
The French have usually done their own thing and not conformed to vehicle identification regulations, i.e. most manufacturers use a stamped in number to identify the...
This has been a bit of a nightmare for me.
I initially had an Alpine h/u fitted a fe weeks ago but found that the steering wheel adaptor leads (Autoleads) were not compatable. So I then order the correct ones from InCarTec and go and have them fitted. Unfortunately they would not work either...
Have some InCarTec stalk control adaptor leads leads to fit. How easy (or difficult depending on how you look at it) are they to fit?
I'm of the "Not very technical" school of approach.
Any install pi:) cs or guide would really help
Nope there is no AUX input.
Cheap option is something like an iTrip FM transmitter but you won't experience the full benefits of your iPod
Personally (and it was the option I went for) is to change your H/U - Standard Renault H/U is rubbish IMHO. I went for Alpine iDA-X001 which is made for iPod...
Is it possible to get carbon fibre effect dash inserts?
Have done lots of searches to no avail so answer is likely not! Shame because I think they would look good and a bit unique.

Will need two cables one of which is 29 - 001 (Alpine radio adaptor) and other steering stalk adaptor cable from list thats compatible with your MY
car. Give them a call - found...
Welcome.
Same year and colour as my 182. First Titanium Silver I have seen with stripes - they suit the car perfectly.
Hope you enjoy many happy miles with your 182
Contacted Incartec - sorted and now awaiting delivery of compatable leads.
If any use for anyone fitting same unit to 04 Clio (with dash display) cables required are;
29 -652 and 29 -001 (Alpine specific patch cable)
Had my iDA-X001 fitted yesterday. Great sound quality and briliant with iPod but ...... the leads for the steering wheel remote I got with it - Autoleads (as specified in my earlier threads) were not compatible with the H/U) It turns out that Autoleads do not have the remote leads for 2007...
The standard stereo is rubbish so yes benefits just by changing it.
Don't need to be faffing about with CD changer - new H/U has i-Pod interface.
Dash display is no great loss either - everything wanted will be displayed on H/U
Yep its back right as you look into the glovebox (housing). The blue cap, which is oval can be turned in order to open the vent. The pipe leads up the rear of the glovebox from the rear of the housing towards top left of the engine bay and connects with a nozzle. You can remove the blanking...
