My friend has got a series 3 Williams Clio and did a trackday recently. He only got overtook by an Evo and a Subaru the whole day!! His car is standard apart from running slicks in the afternoon.
Any of the sporty Clio's will be good for track use.

There is a used Gaz coil over kit for sale on Ebay at the minute with 2 days something left to run taken from a 182.

Cam belt kit should be done at 72000 miles or 5 years old.
Renault also recommend changing the auxillary belt and pulleys at the same time.
I was quoted £136 + vat for the cam belt kit and £106 + vat for the auxillary belt kit this week by my local Renault dealer for my 182.

I had a 1.2 16v Clio which was doing 35 - 40 to the gallon and i traded it in for a 54 plate 182. When i got the car 2 months ago the computer said it was doing 36.3 mpg when the previous owner had it but now it is showing 25.4 mpg in my hands.

Hi mate. You can legally drive any other car as long as the car is insured by someone else 1st. You will then have 3rd party only cover on the car.
