I agree if cruise control is being used I would say it is slightly more economical than not using it as the throttle is so precise, there's no fluctuation from the pedal that would happen with your foot, from my experience anyway!

As most have said the same here just get some springs if anything, and leave as it is!!!:)

I just washed it with AutoGlym shampoo and conditioner and then used AutoGlym Super Resin Polish. Nothing exciting but I've used it on all my cars and never had a problem.

Gave my Clio it's first polish yesterday evening, I'm guessing maybe it was machined at some point as it seems to have come up quite well for a 66k mile car! :S :cool: :)

Interesting topic, personally I wouldn't ever drive a car with non road legal plates on but I can see the attraction. If people are going to be short sighted and shallow enough to tailgate/shout abuse etc I would just leave them to it and brake lightly so they don't go in the back of you...
