I have videos of the C63, but I won't post them on the internet. ;) It is a wonderful car though.
I'd ask if anyone knows what happened to my old 182 but I kind of know. I know it's on its 3rd owner in a year, which is a shame, and that the last owner swapped it for an '03 plate Astra GSI...
The R looks awesome Wolf. Definitely the right choice -as if there ever was a 'choice'. ;)
Anyway, you now must get yourself up to mine in the next few weeks so I can experience the little beasty first hand. And so you can help me paint my living room too, of course. ;)
I wondered the same as you when I had to get mine replaced last year. After some research and talking to GDi this is bassically what I concluded: The rear brakes do bugger all so just stick to the factory discs and pads.
As said above, make sure you get the ones with the ABS rings though...
I had a 106 GTI before my 182 and must admit that the brakes were the only thing I was disappointed with when I got it. Even with Brembo discs and renault pads on, I thought the discs were crap! Other people seem hell bent on defending them during conversations, but I can't see why. As...
It makes me laugh when people go about what to buy, stating that it's the best. More often than not they have no experience of the other cars in the range and are biast as they own the model they're recommending.
You need to think about how much money you have to spend, what you want from the...
Howdo Keef. Glad to hear you enjoyed South Wales, but then I'm sure you knew you would. The A4069 is fantastic! So twisty, well sighted and silky smooth.
Sounds good except for the date. I've got an RS meet on the 2nd, which ends with a night on the lash so I'll be in no fit state to go out driving on the 3rd unfortunately.
What suspension does you car have on it guppy? Do you ever experience scraping under the front arches as it looks really...
Good stuff. I do love Imprezas. My step dad got one in the late '90s and it was the first lengthy experience I'd had with a really fast car. They're awesome to drive but unfortunately are like clitorises though these days. Has he tried any of the Evos out?
Nah, it's fine. It isn't as rough as Wrynose and Hardknott. ;)
Your father in law has very good taste. You and your boyfriend do look to have had a nice collection of cars. I can see what you've got now under your avatar. What does your boyfriend have at the moment?
Is the Quattro your boyfriend's only car or does he own some of the other beauties in the photos too?
People go on about how the 182 like to pose on 3 wheels. Going round the little corner in that last pic onto the unclassified, I once had my 106 on 2 wheels! And Rex was behind me laughing at...
182chick, that's a quality collection of cars there! And in the snow? Oo, I bet that was entertaining.
Has anyone been down that little unclassified on the left just as you come off the hairpin going down hill? If you haven't I'd highly recommend it, it's an fantastic little road!
So that'd be this corner then:

;)
182chick: Everything you've said sounds awesome! I'll look forward to that pic of the Quattro. I love rallying and they definitely are a classic. Proper car!
Haha, they are my mates (one is RexinaTrophy who is on here and (was on ) the RS forum). If you saw them over the Beacons then no doubt they were making progress, lets say. ;)
Did you speak to them? They both wanted to go for a drive and as it got to lunchtime they both decided to head to...
That is indeed a good price. Two of my mates live in Aldridge and one of them got PE2s for £85 a tyre, fitted by a local garage. I'm not sure of the name but I could find out if it's any good as that's the cheapest I've heard of. COSTCO do them for £93 each fitted. They were the best I could...
