I already have a viper induction kit and am gunna go and get it remapped in about...
Just take the bottom hose off the radiator and all the coolant will empty. When filling back up dont 4get to undo the bleed screws(usually 1 on the radiator and 1 on a coolant hose). Then wen the system is full/bled run the engine to make sure the cooling fans cut in .
Check to see if there is a live to the horn. If not ur probably lookin at the rotary switch bein faulty. This is the part the indicator/wiper switch goes into and sits around ur steering column. And yes these r expensive. Just dont mess about wid it urself as its connected to the steering wheel...
Yeah i fitted a viper on saturday and put it straight to the butterfly valve and it really didnt like it(it died wen i went into second gear at about 4000 revs). So i just took out the butterfly valve diconnected the connector and now its sweet as a nut.
I personally have not yet came across a bonnet flyin open yet and thats wid 7 years at renault. As long as the bonnet lock/mechanisms r looked after(WD40 one in a while) these problems wont happen??
Check for rubbing on the wiring harness by the injection computer cover (at the back ov the engine) very common, Rear coil spring known to snap, If it has a suroof listen for creaks as if there are any a new frame will be needed and that is expensive. Also if it is a 3 door make sure the front...
the drivers side shaft is easy to replace. there r no roll pins to remove (which is good) I find it easier to take the 2 strut bolts off the hub. So u can pull the hub down and slide the shaft out ov 1 side of the hub. the only other thing u need to remove is the 30mm driveshaft bolt as that is...
yeah renaultman has it right. once u take out the torx 40 screws out ov the disks, put a single wheell stud in a few threads so wen u r hittin the disk wid a hammer the disk doesnt go flyin. And make sure the disk is the same size b4 u remove any parts as if u t**t the disk of then find the new...
best thing to do is tighten the top bolt a couple of threads then put the bottom bolt in as this will give u plenty ov room to play. then tighten both the bolts in a few more threads th make sure they r goin in ok then just tighten em up.
at a renault dealer the prices may be steep . but the mechanics know wat exactly to look for while servicing i.e snapped rear coil springs, knockin strut tops during a service. i know it is a steep price to pay but if u av a immaculate car the renault stamp always looks beta for wen u r sellin.
it sounds like a brake servo/master cylinder fault if the brake pedal is sinkin.Couldnt diagnose the exact problem without avin a look at the car myself but at least i can give u a general idea wat the prob is
If the wiring loom has rubbed through u will av to replace it (as u can never repair it correctly). and if the fault continues it will most likly to be the throttle body as this is a common fault in 1.2 clios. But most ov the time if the loom has rubbed through the throttle body will be ok...
