had a mate over yesterday to do the welding work, we got all the holes done, and the front right hand inner wing sorted, just the cage and the driver sill to do as it has a small area of rust. few holes and rot repaired new inner wing which looks 100 times better.

hill power induction on mk1's is nested in the scuttle so there no heat at all on the filter or the air which its getting. although the air has a long distance to travel from the filter

started fine all today was abit slow and now nothing just dead tryed 3 batteries still nothing, not even turning over. is this starter motor? or any suggestions

i'd say a rebuild guy i work with has a whinning 5th gear so its going to get it rebuilt/refurb or whatever they do. take it its cheaper then a new one.

i've just come across the hill power induction system wondering what peoples thoughts are on it? or if anyone has it im currently running k&n pannel filter which came with the car and just wondering whether to change to a induction. http://www.hillpower.co.uk/ - go to the photos and check it out
