Guys, anyone else had their centre consol on a 172 FF come away from the dash....? My GF's has just come away and can be taken off oveer the gear lever. How do I refit it, it doesnt look like and screws have brken..?

The doors and boot dint lock on mine automatically - how do you turn them on..??

A mate of mine has a solid red MX-5, that is a complete state - the paint is very faded. What can he use to get the paint looking remotley acceptable, without PCing it, and without too much effort - he's not too keen on spending loads of cash or loads of time..!! Cheers

Saw it again this morning, parked in Letchworth town centre - no one else seen it..??

Seen a mint looking 172 in letchworth recently with FF 182 wheels and private plate.....think it's a chicks car, plate reads 'Angy'....

Anyone know if the above ( a 2002 V6 ) is any bigger than a std 182 spoiler...? I have seen one, but from the pictures it doesnt look any larger.

Ok, here goes - it's called Finishline UK Ltd, tell No 01462 677112. I used them about a year ago for my GFs' clio, the finish was awesome, you couldnt tell the newly painted panel from the original...if you know what I mean.

Hi mate. theres a good one at Jacks Hill in Graveley. I forget whats it called - it is where Renault take theirs cars, and customers cars that are in for body shop stuff...!! its around the back of the dodgy looking car sales place.

i think it is in a couple of places - on the sticker or plaque inside the drivers door, and also on a plaque on the dashboard - passenger side ( assuming it's a ph 2 one that is )

Thank you gentlemen.... Only problem is, that the wheels were bought secondhand to replace my Gf's 172 alloys, and I dont think her original tool kit/jack pack will have one. I'll have a look when I get in tonight.....If it doesnt, a small screw driver wrapped in a cloth sounds the best option.

How about the 182 - it doesnt have a centre cap as such, just the disc thing that covers the bolts.....there just seems to be a small hole - noy key bolt or anything....? I am worried that I will scratch the alloy when removing it.

Looks like that one is for the 172 alloys.....how do people get theirs off without scratching the alloy ?
