my dad was driving down the motorway earlier in my car, slowing down for traffic and the cambelt snapped. My best guess is that now the engine is totally fuxxed. I just had to join the AA, aswell. You might be able to tell that i'm really pissed off, as now im left with no f**king car...

Right, i have a mark1, phase 3. i robbed a dash with rev counter etc. from a mark 1 phase 1/2 1.4. at a scrappy and threw it in my car today. i got all the wiring for everything else, all the lights work on the dash etc(apart from the rear foggies). However, i can't get the rev counter working...

When i bought my car, the alloys came opn it, however are aftermarket. BUT i didn't admit to having them. Anywho. I'm on on 3rd party so tbh i don't care =] But, im'a look at getting the Gold alloys from the old clio williams. as mine's the same colour as the williams ;)

Pioneer DEH-P55BT I just recieved mine today. Haven't thrown it in the car yet though =[

Apparently the bluetooth on the P55BT is a bit wanky. However, it is the one i shall be getting next week. iPod (Harman Kardon) thing is most probably the easiest. One of my mates has it, it works really well, it's just the question of do you want an extra thing sitting on top of your dash?

Have read a few reviews about the Bluetooth being w**k. But i don't care. I don't use my phone when i'm driving anyways =]

tbh, for my personal network, i wouldnt use a netgear thing either. But for other people (maybe those who dont really care about security) it's a good, easy, simple solution

Thing about just changing the changer is the fact you wont be able to change between folders on the mp3 cd itself. When you count up how many tracks can fir on a cd, then times it by the amount of cd's in the changer, it may sound like a lot. But you're actually better off getting an mp3 player...

You can get network storage for pretty cheap these days. Netgear do a nice one i THINK. Check out PC world for network storage. Personally though, i would just build up a file server...

Safety-pin dude. Yeah, everyone i've spoken to recommends Alpine or Pioneer, i think i've made my final decision. Just gotta find it cheap. Cheapest i've found is £179.99 What phone do you have. Some phones dont work properly with the bluetooth stuff. My dads P900 didnt work with his BMW...

Vista SP2(1)? Comes out mid 2007. It also contains tons of other stuff that couldn't get put in the final release of the OS as it didn't make the cut-off date! Still wouldn't get it for s**t tbh
