Let’s say I am doing 30mph in 4th gear. The car sits at around 15 hundred revs.
I get a really annoying rattle sort of noise. Like two pieces of metal scraping together!!
It happens mostly when starting to accelerate from 30 in 4th.
Any ideas?:nono:
i gave my car £10 worth of juice today, then drove 10 miles and half of it had already gone! surely this is wrong? just recently i have found myself filling up far too much. don't 1.4s give about 40 mpg? ideas? :rasp:
get an old coat-hanger, the metal ones
cut it in half and bend each half round
insert the four bits of coat hanger into the four small holes
leaving them in, pull the whole thing :)
i've read up on spraying bumpers etc.
it seems that it is not very difficult just very time consuming.
needs sanding down, priming a couple of times ensuring a smooth finish is given. colour sprayed and then a few layers of clear finish spray
i'll give it a go on a spare part and let you know
i am seriously thinking of colour coding my bumpers but don't want to take it in anywhere.
how difficult is it do at home and where can i get the required sprays etc?:rasp:
to be fair i think they meant to actually get it colour coded. ie. sprayed
here is what it would look like, sorta. it's very hard to get the colour's spot on mind you
Just recently my brakes have been feeling slacker than usual. I am guessing this is a bad sign?
On another note, I've had two flats in two days! Gr, how annoying:mad:
I currently have the crap grey plastic bumpers. Would it be cheaper / easier to re-spray them rather than have new ones fitted? And where can this be done?
