If the bottle has gunk in it just remove it and put it in a dishwasher - mrs might not like it but it works a treat. Then blow the pipes out with an airline, just to be sure there is nothing blocking them before refitting the bottle.
No Mate, I used to have a 4x4 Sapphire, had an Escort Cos last 7 years. Our 172 has been in our family since new, I've owned it twice (my brother had it for a year then I had it back), got to be 9 years in total now. Can't see me ever selling my 172, does everything I need.
Good series 1 turbos...
There are 2 down there by the park lane tavern, one at the furniture place (with a very odd replacement grill) and another by the fence company that has awful alloys on. I only live 2 mins from there and see those all the time.
The rondells look so good as they were styled on the 18 inch optional Wolf wheels, which were a dealer option - mainly in Europe. Other Wolf parts could be spec'd up. These are quite rare additions, options were stuff like the wheels, extra rear spoiler, oil temp gauge rather than volt meter, 2...

Always had Fords myself:
First car was a Mk2 XR2, ended up with 135hp engine with twin 40 dcoe webers.
(whale tail on a mk2 was a good idea at the time, with hindsight it looked terrible)
replaced the Fiesta after 2 years with an early 4x4 Sapphire that had a bare shell rebuild:
Owned...
Yeah, it was a great couple of days. I've never known someone have such confidence in a car like Thiery did in that Fiesta, got to give credit to the guy.
I had a yozzasport decat on mine along with a single box system, it was just too loud. Sure it sounded great, but on the motorway it was unbearable. Got the standard cat back on now.
Just thought i'd resurrect this thread.
My modded 2001 172 (RS tuning remap, matched inlet and throttle body, yozasportt cat back exhaust, noise valve removed from airbox) has developed this lumpy idle problem when warm, it doesn't try to cut out, it just stutters like it has a momentary...
