i keep seeing a nimbus 197 with cup pack parked in tesco at mickleover, usually on a saturday:cool:

got mine from renault then got local bodyshop to do

paid 190 for mine a month ago and 130 to spray and fit, looks bril

had my 197 cup a couple of weeks and noticed in 2nd gear it doesn't seem to do much ? as soon as i get into 3rd it zooms off. never experienced this before in other cars melanie

on my 4th, had a 172 2 182s and just got a 197 cup

passed a nimbus 197 in mickleover at lunchtime inmy nimbus 197 cup. mel

just collected my ex demo 197 cup today and its bril, i've had a 172 and a 182 and so far like the 197 more. drove it the 30 miles home and at a steady 70-80 got 45 mpg which having owned a corsa vxr averaging 29 on the motorway is amazing ! melanie

yer you are right and i regretted sellin the vxr and buying a more sensible car, hence looking at the 197. Any way couldn,t resist it so bought it, can,t wait to pick it up, sod the mpg, i,ll go with whatever ! Not sure my old man feels the same way but tough !

got rid of the vxr because of mpg not so much the knocking around 24mpg but also the fact i only got 29 mpg derby-newcastle and back

Hi, just re-registered as am looking at buying a 197 cup tomorrow. have already had a 172 and 2 182s and loved em. recently had a corsa vxr and got 24mpg so wondered what i should expect from the 197? thanks mel

ok, i'm a bit thick when it comes to this, how do i get my photo on ? mel

i've had my 182 a year now and the mpg has hovered between 29.2 and 29.8 but i had really rubbish tyres oput on when i upgraded to 17's. now i've put decent tyres on and mpg went up to 31.7 but now its dropped to 28.5 ! whats going on ? mel
