Hi, caught the thread a bit late but i have the same 1.2 8v engine in a 55 plate and have had 105mph on a flat A road a few times without passengers. Quite shocked to hear yours struggles to 90mph with the wheels shaking, mines passes 100mph without any signs of strains.

Those are really nice wheels, will look sweet on the Z3. What site are you getting them from? I'm looking for some deep dish rims for my car.

I have them too. I know they're used to line up the Renault branded doorsills which you buy from their accessories catalogue. Dunno if they're used for anything else though.

When I picked mine up the salesman took her to fill up after i signed all the paperwork. When i finally jumped in it had 7 miles on the clock. Must have been quite a bit lower than 7 considerin the time he was gone!
