There was a tech note regarding missfire, try replacing spark plug 1. better to replace set to be honest. But done probably 10 clio's with same fault. also had tight valve clearances but tyr plugs first.

you cant clean that thou. it they usually fall apart when you take them out.

where is the idle valve situated? i thought it had a stepper motor set up rather than a valve?? I use optimax fuel. plug leads are original. Has any one had fuel pump problems? i fitted a fuel filter and it missed its tits off for 10 seconds a good old rev restored order.

no temp gauge is fine. optimax doesnt really affect it, even tried octane booster.

Please somebody help, ive got a 172 exclusive and i love it to bits, BUT it idle like a pig when warm. its had a new temp sensor no code showing on clip. Its got a k-tec stealth cat back and a pipercross filter no other mods!! It fast idles from cold when warm its like its cammed up. Any ideas?:S
