Following someone's advice - now on pistonheads. Any advice on the ad? Not done this in a while! Know I need some pics but need to borrow a camera.

Well I'll try to sell it to someone local then they can drive up and see ya :D Some photos of 2 together would have been a first I think so would have been good to do a few months back when I wasn't in the middle of setting up a business.
So if I sell it then it's going to be around the 4k...
Why? You seen me about in it too? Never get a wave! ;) That one on piston heads cheap then? At least all the panels on mine match the car lol, that bonnet looks gash
High? It works out to 11800 a year which is about bang on average I think. They only made these for less than a year and there's only 31 of them so I think you'd be hard pushed to find a ph1 yellow with less miles. It's been serviced on the dot and purrs, there's 100k left in her if someone else...
Not at the minute, I don't have a digi cam. If it turns out I have to sell it then I'll borrow one and get loads of pics up. It looks exactly like any other sunflower yellow but with no dinks down the side. I've spent the last 18 months making my girlfriend walk from the far side of the car park...
Cam belt was last done before I bought it, got the receipt for September 2005 when the car was on 52k so 2 years and 25k miles ago. When would it next be due? Hadn't crossed my mind yet as seems a bit soon?
Well that's a hard question, I've owned it for 2 years and haven't looked at prices for them in that time as I didn't want a second one ;) I suppose this is what will decide me; I'll only be selling if keeping it will be detrimental to my business but it will have to be enough mular to be...
Yo!
Due to needing a van for work and already running a camper van it looks like I might have to consider getting rid of the sunflower ph1 :( Awful timing as I've just spent out for 4 brand new tyres and a service but insurance is ddue so I've got to consider it.
Anyway, question is whether...
You got a diagram? Mine didn't come with one. If yours are the same just position the mats where you want them, screw the thing into the carpet in the middle of the mat hole so it marks the carpet with a pinhole, remove the mat, screw the bottom bit into the carpet so it's tight, clip the other...
s**t. I'm going to have to pay more for a standard (copy) piece then? Was looking forward to it feeling a bit tighter like I've been reading about. Would be nice to get a slightly quicker response and reduce the kick when lifting off the throttle. I don't remember it being twisted when I've been...
Thread revival for a vital question!!!! My bottom mounting has gone and I was going to change tomorrow. If this'll fit then I'll order one of thes and wait instead. It says on the site that they only fit clios with a twisted mounting. It's 10:20pm and I'm not crawling under the car, anyone know...
Could you not just run a file recovery program on the local machine and see if it picks up the file you reckon they downloaded as ever being on the local drive? Even if it can't recover it it should give you the file size for comparison?
Mine's always done this too, until 2 days ago that is! I took the injector cover thingy off to change the oil but didn't have time to do it that night. When I got it off I noticed the last person who had the cover off had trapped the black fuel pipe that goes in the right hand side of the rail...
It normally leaks when you get little scratches where the washer and sump surfaces meet. Just but a tiny bit of grease on the surface first so it doesn't scour when you tighten it up and then it shouldn't leak any :)
GavFre, ja.jack - get a room will you? It's very sweet and everything but this is MY oil thread b*tches and there'll be no tiffs in here because I'm not in a counselling mood :D
I'm going to give it a go on the halfords 5w40 and run it for 6 months as £40 for 5l of oil seems a bit ott for a...
See how hard it is? None of you can make your mind up either lol. If it's £23 every 6 months or £40 every 12 then I might as well just put quality stuff in and do it once a year.
Can anyone give a definite answer if halfords own is the same oil as this comma stuff? If it is then £17 every 6...
hmmmm. I'm sure I'd be better with the cheaper stuff and changing it twice as often but I'm too lazy and it would probably sit in there for a year. Does anyone know if this is defo the same stuff as Halford's own? If it is I might as well try some of that and then can use expensive stuff in 6...
Right, I've seen a few posts about this oil and some say it's the same as halfords (which might be cheaper?). It's not supposed to be a fully synthetic even though it says it is. Oilman had a post somwhere about this. So, is it any good for a 58k 172 for fast road, no track? 5l will set me back...
You know that SATA2 won't run any faster for you unless you have several drives? All it increases is the total bandwidth for all drives on the controller so I wouldn't look at it as any advantage in a normal system. Looks like a pretty nice set up but I personally wouldn't bother with dual core...
Try uninstalling the graphics driver then rebooting, then try installing the driver from windows update and see if that's any better. If that doesn't help try running SFC. I'm not sure those pics are related to any system files but can't hurt to check they're all there and intact ;) Start > Run...
"The car has had over 4000+ spent on modifications, a real head turner! For more detailed info plz contact me. £3,650. ONO"
I'm so tempted to book her in for a test drive :P
