was wondering the idea behind the stop-start technique u have been using, will the welder not go to a low enough power setting to allow a continuall weld pool...
i would have thought that the subframes were removed, meaning the sidemounts are mounted directly to the floor, making the seats sit much lower, and being totally fixed to the car. FIA standard.
good choice of seats. look tidy, and for an everyday car height looks spot on. for a track car you want them lower tho, but then you cant see over the bonnet!!! lol
i go to somewhere that uses the above tyre machine, and they still scratched them. its annoying, but to be honest they were track wheels, so i aint that gutted.

try www.plastics4performance.com. they do clio kits. would bother with front sliders like rally cars, they just leak and are a pain (imo) and the std windows in plastic can hook up to the winders nicely!
