    Clio won't start

Let's reply to a 13 year old thread... I'd say R107 was your problem because both faulty segments were on that connector. R107 is the connector in the scuttle. It's accessible when the wiper tank is removed. When the technician changed the wiring loom, which connects to R107, he probably...

Clio 172 Cruise Control Retro Fit problem

Did you jump the clutch pedal switch connector? It's necessary when the switch is missing.

No coolant flow in small return hose to expansion bottle

On my Clio 1.4 there's no coolant flow in the small return hose which is connected at the top of the expansion bottle. I've had other Renaults which did have a visible flow into the expansion bottle. The problem I have is that the heater is only warm for a short time when I turn the fan on...

    182 crank seal oil leak

I got the old crank oil seal out together with a spacer ring. I did a bit of a assessment. I can easily turn the oil pump gear when sticking my finger in there. I can push the space ring all the way in. So apparently the spacer ring presses against the oil pump gear which subsequently is locked...

    182 crank seal oil leak

Can I assume that black oil seals are probably original and red ones have been replaced? My crank seal (pulley side) is black and leaking while the cam seal is red and dry. If the cam seal was replaced, then I find it odd that they didn't replace the crank seal.

Wouldn't a weak fuel pump relay cause the same symptoms?

    Mk1 Clio 1.8 16v AKA TOU

Thanks. My fjp isn't so much rusted out but heavily damaged after I ran over an object on my drive way in the dark. I'll be trying something else first: I'll cut the piece out and try to reshape it. I'd also weld some reinforcement on it. Then weld the whole thing back in. I'll combine this with...

Did you buy or make the new front jacking point panels? I need a new left-hand fjp panel.
