    Sourcing Coilovers! Help needed

So recently I bought a new set of wheels for the new daily turd (2018 1.5dci clio), these wheels are a different size and different tyre wall size. Finding it hard to find gears under deceleration

Replaced the dog bone yesterday, the front bushing was completely knackered, put an evol engineering one in its place and the knocking has gone. So far it hasn't grinded a gear, so hopefully it was just the movement in the dogbone stopping the gear linkages moving so much or little. Also, gear...

Finding it hard to find gears under deceleration

A lot of the time at high rpms, but a lot of the time it's fine and I get no problems from it at all. It's just at sporadic times where it does grind Doesn't happen under acceleration makes a knocking noise whenever you let off the throttle or put your foot down. (What made me think it was the...

Finding it hard to find gears under deceleration

Just wanting some ideas as to what could be causing the issues, as I'm really not up to dropping my box out at the moment. Issue is finding it hard to get into gears, sometimes just grinding gears under deceleration.( I'm thinking towards the dog bone being absolutely wankered ) I won't be able...

    Socket / Tool Sets?

Only problem I find with the Halfords set is, that the 1/4" deep sockets, aren't all that deep to be honest. I like using them to undo seized brake nipples with, but they don't go all the way down and touch the caliper/cyclinder.

    Weird limp mode problem

As with the shaft stuck in the hub, soak it in a penetrating oil and hit the end of it with a copper mallet, a copper one so I doesn't destroy the threads.

Ebay item numbers; 182620715097 201984686161 201984686325 142466020213 Just a few, although most have over 100k on the clock. But maintenance on these are an absolute doddle. 1.2s are great cars for new drivers. They may be slow but a lot of fun. Before doing any mods, I would definitely give...

Bottom arms when buying a clio

Are the bottom arms something to look at when buying a clio as my first car, a 1.2 mk2 had badly corroded arms which on one morning going to work failed and I ended rolling the car over. I have just recently bought a 1.6 mk2 and while doing a brake service noticed there are holes in the bottom...
