    172 Cup OEM+

Recently @Alastair. advertised his Clio 172 Cup and although I messaged within 10mins of it being advertised, I'd missed out. @*lee* beat me to it. A week later I get a message on FB from Lee explaining he'd bought it on a whim and what he really wanted was an R26 Megane. He'd seen a Megane and...

ABS + SERV light no ESP light

Gents. I have the ABS + SERV light but no ESP light on the dash. This started where I could start the car and the lights would not be on. Until I pressed the brake pedal, even when stationary and the lights would come on. Now, I can disconnect the battery. Reconnect the battery, turn the...

No brake lights, ABS & SERV light.

Before you say it, I've searched and although there are those with similar problems, none are like my issue, because I'm special. I have NO brake lights and I have the ABS and SERV lights on the dash. I DO have rear lights and indicators. Replaced brake light switch - still no brake lights...

    Steering rack to subframe bolts

Chaps, Converting the Clio to EPAS including a DCI rack. Whilst I sent the subframe away for powdercoating etc. I seem to have misplaced the bolts that attach or attached the original rack to the subframe. I notice the DCI/EPAS rack has no bushes and bolts direct to the subframe. Anyone...

    Brake line blanks?

I'll be dropping the rear beam on my Clio at some point and one thing I want to do in an effort to make life a little easier is plug the brake lines. I see @Amos91 did something similar, anyone know where I can get these blanks/plugs from? Cheers,

Rear stud & Nut kit. Is this right?

Hello, Fitting a stud and nut kit to the rear of the clio and the shoulder/knob/wide but doesn't go through the disc. If I were to fit these (with locktite) I wouldn't be able to take the disc off? Are these the wrong studs? Yes I need new discs.

    Immobiliser - my bad.

For a while my cigarette lighter (which is a USB port now due to previous owner) hasn't worked. I set about trying to fix it this weekend. I popped a multi meter on the wire/s to the USB/Cig lighter and some how shorted it. I heared a noise, albeit brief. Then the CD player and climate was...

    Airbag help

Yes, another airbag light "help" request. Right then, recently I bought an RS tuner with airbag module. I was able to turn off all the airbag lights/sensors but when I went over bumps/turned the wheel the light would come back on. Over another bump and off and repeat. I plugged in the RS...

    Bowen's RB182

Right then... I bought my last 182 off a mate who was going through a bad patch and needed to make some sacrifices. I listed my silver 182 for sale (in a moment of madness) and the mate I bought it off was in a position to buy it back. He was quite emotional and I knew it was the right thing to...

    Power to 3rd Brake Light?

Hello, My first post in here (first of many?! who knows...) Tidying up the wires in the rear of the Clio I unplugged the rear lights to give access and wipe down where the dirt gathers. Connected all back up and I have no 3rd brake light. Got the multimeter out and there is no power going...

    Bowen's 182 pt.2

Some of you may recall I bought an Arctic Blue 182 to keep me busy through lockdown etc. I finally got it up to scratch had a blast at a local trackday and then a mate who I'd been bugging for a year to buy his 182, decided to sell it. The one I should have bought. Originally he planned to...

Clio 182 - Arctic Blue project

Hi, I have always wanted a Clio 182, but found myself mainly leading a life more VAG. Then a few years ago I bought an RS250 and loved it. Since then I have gone back to VW daily driving a MK7.5 Golf R Estate, which is a fantastic daily, especially when you have a little one and all the...
