Thanks Steve :smile: Column cowl is nearly there. Final coats going on today then flat, polish and lacquer tomorrow when it's fully cured. Sadly run out of Carbon to do anything else so will have to wait until I can buy some more.

Other trims done and installed. And removed the top of the steering column cowl which is currently awaiting its first cure to finish. First bit with more than a single continuous surface so a bit more of a challenge.

Finished the dash inserts now. Fair chuffed with the final finish! And fitted to the car Just to lacquer the other bits prior to fitting them.

Since I was getting some carbon skinning work done on the Mini, I thought I would take some Clio bits off for practice purposes and if they came out ok, I could put them on the car. Starting simple with fairly flat parts and will work up to more curved/compund curved surfaces as my skills...

They were as I have receipts from KTec for genuine cam belt kit and water pump but just an invoice for a non gen belt. Why go to that much bother to miss out a crucial part in the form of the aux tensioner?!

I've now ordered a genuine aux belt kit from three different suppliers (2 eBay, or K-Tec) and all have replied saying they do not have one in stock. I desperately need a genuine Renault tensioner kit so I can get my car back on the road so any suggestions of where else to try?

This is true but with it being replaced in December I would like to think that wasn't the case. Pump ordered anyway and it will be a good time to replace the power steering fluid anyway. Just as well Im out of work at the moment so I don't desperately need the car every day!

Don't love this little thing quiiiiite so much at the moment. The auxiliary belt is screeching when I apply lock to the wheel. Had a little investigation today and as soon as the wheel is turned, you can see the pulley on the power steering pump stop briefly and can then hear the belt...
