Hi, I have a 2006 197 I am trying to fix, the car starts and runs fine just lacking power I have put my clip on and it comes up with df119 camshaft sensor signal (1.def) - camshaft tooth event, I have replaced the cam sensor, dephaser pulley and the fault code comes back straight away.
Anyone...
The thermostat housings are common for cracking and leaking.
As for the starting issue is there any warning lights on? Is the immobiliser light going out?
My 172 had lumpy idle and it was 1 of the injectors, check the resistance of them with a multimeter, I just replaced the faulty 1 and the car has been fine
I've had another go at trying to reconfigure this but it keeps changing its self back to speed sensor not sure if I'm doing something wrong. It does change to abs but if I unplug the clip and go back into it it's changed back. Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks
Sorry to bring up an old thread, I have a 2002 172 with a 182 gearbox and the speedo isn't working.
I have access to a clip and was wondering if some could explain where to go on clip to reconfigure the speedo
Thanks Paul
