Re: iPhone Q&A DONT START ONE QUESTION IPHONE THREADS. **POST HERE**
When i bought mine the girl in the shop told me there was another new iphone in the pipeline, she did say that if there was i'd be upgraded to it free of charge - is this true or just a load of c**k and bull? She said the same...
Well i ventured into the loft this evening (scary). It looks pretty complicated, but as far as i can tell, the aerial from the roof has been diverted down directly into the sky box? Getting fed up of this now....
Thanks for that mate! Right, established that terrestrial works on the tv with the sky box attatched to it. Everything is per the picture! Its the other rooms in the house which are no go!
Normal terrestial tv, everything on sky is running fine. Nothing is loose. Been racking my brains - could it have anything to do with their being two signals now being received for the sky+?!
As per title really, had sky+ installed a while back and havent been able to watch the normal terrestrial, or digital channels for that matter through any of the tv's in our house. Any ideas?
I'd say the grin factor would be far wider! You shouldnt have to push it as hard to get the rewards as you do in the renault. Be interesting to see what you think of the sport button as I personally like more weight to the steering..although some say it feels artificial.
Yeah, deeming the current works mods unnecessary! Alot of people only report that it has made the car smoother. The factory fit works coming out soon will be a different story tho...
The problem is, she is probably right! New turbo R56 cooper s's are churning out around 200 on the rollers, well over the claimed 175. The octavia is a much heavier car.
Car is going in tommorow for an MOT and some other work. Currently getting a droning sound from the front nearside wheel, pretty sure its the wheel bearing. How much can I expect to be stung for this? and what problems could it cause if I wasnt to get the work done - bearing in mind its been...
Apparently it needs all of this work carrying out, loom harness covered on warranty whereas spark plugs and remap are not. The latter they said would cost £100...for frickin spark plugs?!
It doesnt work, you have to have had a history of calling the numbers. You cant just phone them the day before you send the letter (like I did) even though I protested that I would be using them in the future and even threatening legal action
Got mine today..to be honest I think its such a let down. In many respects ive downgraded in terms of a phone. Bulky, slow...who wants to browse the internet on their phone anyway? Really disappointed!
Was shopping around for one of these today and may have found a really good deal..phones 4 u firstly offered me it for free, with 350 minutes and 200 texts for £26 a month (18 month contract) told them I didnt want it for 18 months so they said theyd do the same deal for 12 but I'd have to pay...
Pads and discs were replaced last week, but they are squeeking on each revolution of the wheel, it stops if I brake but comes back a few seconds later. Any ideas?
I dont really have the time or expertise and equipment to do it myself to be honest. Just wondering if that price seems reasonable for the discs pads and labour
Havent driven it since Tuesday, took it down to get sorted out and they just phoned me back saying that the discs and pads they were about to fit for a 1.2 16 were alot smaller than the ones already on my car. Apparently they are the same as a 1.5 DCi?? Cant understand this as they've never been...
Came on last night as I was just coming home, thought it might be because they were too hot as they were fading as well (had been driving hard). Today its even worse, the front right hand is grinding (metal on metal) so i assume i need new brake pads...and possibly a new disc if it is grinding?!
im not bothered about being the fastest, just thought it was suprising when tested with my mates earlier on. both 1.6 minis werent pullin much further ahead at all. and people seem to think that it cant do 60 in under 12...
