It took me 4 attempts at lunchtime! how embarrasing. Its the only gripe i have with the car... other than that its spot on! Hope you have fun with yours, once you get it sorted. Gonna take mine back in and get starter motor looked at!

oooooooooh this thread is getting out of hand!!!!! I have a cup it handles like a dream, its economical, you get looks left right and centre being in it... and I LOVE IT!!!! I WOULDNT HAVE BOUGHT IT IF NOT... Guess some people are never satisfied. lol

I have to disagree about them looking Rubbish!!!! I havent had mine on a track yet, but i think the previous owner did. so far i havent had any problems with the handling, think its corners well at speed!

Hi Rob Not sure if it does have history of doing it. Im the second owner and have only had it 5 weeks. I didnt buy it from a renault dealer but did take it in about 3 weeks ago for a healthchack, and they said everything was fine. It doesnt happen everytime.. but seems to be happening more...

Well at least i know its not just mine... or me doing something wrong. It hasnt done it today so far!!! :) Just cant decide if its worth taking it to be looked at or not!

well i did that quote thing wrong!!!! No the cars not new, Its 2 years old. a friend has a 182 and used to have a 172 mk1 and his always started first time!! Its bizarre! i will get it booked in and see what they say.

Hiya Ive had my Cup about 5 weeks now.. and am noticing more and more that it doesnt always want to start first time! took 3 attemps yesterday morning, is this common on all clios or just the cup? Or is it just mine!!!???

Hi Jay172. Yes i was in Lambs yesterday, just took it to have a once over... Faz though the exhaust sounded wierd!!! hehe but there wasnt anything major wrong, they fitted me a rear wiper balde and tightened a few bits up for me, one being the Handbrake, they asked if i wanted my Fog light...
