Exhaust loud at low revs quiet at high
Hi all, I have recently fitted a yozzasport race exhaust on my 172. The problem I have is it sounds loud and nice at low revs under 3k, but when you put your foot down and go over 3k it sounds stock. It isn't decatted, any ideas what could be the cause or problem, could a duff cat cause bad sound?- cbeesley

Okay, the battery / stop light came on the other day, was close to home so tried to make it back, car died about 200 yards from home, alternator whining and smoking just before dying.
