When my 172 is driven hard for a little while you start to get a kind of squeek/metal on metal rub at low speeds coming from under the car, cant be heard from inside only when the windows are down can you hear it.... this then goes once the car has been left for a while (maybe to cool down)...

As you know my clio has gone in again to have its 4th Driveshaft fitted..... only had car 6 Months...... TURNS OUT that either from new or when RENAULT CHELMSFORD changed the gearbox, they did not put the ENGINE back in the correct place, therefore the driveshaft has been under horizontal...
