anybody got 195/45/15s on there valver? its what we have 4 of in the workshop at work, havent got 195/50/15s or the original size.... are these ok?? .... i know it will send the speedo out a little and lower it a bit, but anybody got them on?

What sort of work is involved with fitting new cams? is it something that really needs to be left to the experts or possible by the home mechanic?!? ...failing that, if i bought new cams as a set, would a local garage cope with it??

Went in with intentions of buying a new IK for the 16v, came out with one and a big brake conversion.... bloody Ktec. Got 8mm spacers from halfords on the way home as the brakes will rub the phase 2 alloys otherwise, but need to source some 10mm longer studs, anyone know where i can get them...

Is it worth getting the valver chipped with a view to further more drastic mods in the future, at the mo its basically just got strait through exhaust and filter, few other odds and sods but i do run it on super, sometimes with a can of hot shot power boost which doesnt make it go better but...

From the manifold, Ktec SILENCED de-cat, devil strait through pipe, into a magnex back box - with the standard mid pipe it wasnt loud atall really and i dont want it to be, so when i bolt the new devil section in ( the old section was f**ked) is it going to be to loud???? From experience...

For some reason ive got 185/55/15s on the valver, apparently they are meant to be 50s?? got a deal with the local ATS man where i can get a decent set of pirellis at near cost (not dodgy!!) basically so whats the crack?? go down to the proper size (50s) or stick with what i have as they are...

Wheres my oil going?? Had it changed only 2000 miles ago, now its less than half the original level!! Could it just need topping up or is it liable to be something dodgy?? Never had a car before that uses any oil, so its a bit of a pant filler for me.

Is this a daft idea... When stopped my IK sucks hot air obviously cos theres no air ramming up the cold air feed, So whats stopping me putting a small fan in the cold air pipe to push air over the filter constantly?? The constant air flow will keep away the nasty hot air in theory?? Any...
