ive just brought some track tyres (yokos) 205 60 r15 im just wondering wether they are ok to use on my 172 cup it has bin lowered on coilovers

just brought my self a mark 1 1.8 16v with a 2.0 16v williams engine has been superchipped got a full stainless and a de-cat and a k and n bein lowered aswell goin to use her as a track car im pickin her up on sunday ill get some pics up then....

i have a 172 cup and i was in the second group buy of the vmaxx coilovers i have fitted them but the back end is still quite high ive even tryed removin the collars that you wind up can sumone post a pic of how there cup is set up at the back please

ive got a 1.8 16v clio and a T reg megane 2.0 16v i have now got the engine in driveshafts gearlinkage etc the only problem ive got is wiring the thing in has anyone ever done this conversion before i have both cars still so ive still got all the parts

ive got a 52 plate cup and when it gets warm it just looses all power and cuts out hen refuses to start unless you disconect the crank sensor..... i had a brand new crank sensor fitted last week...... any ideas
ive just fitted a full scorpion exhaust on mt 172 cup and i was wondering if anyone new were i could get a pipe to remove the centre box because it unbolts from my de-cat pipe then sleves into the centre section does anyone have one?

i have a 2002 cup and currently have a helix cerametalic paddle clutch...
only problem is its only lasted bout 10,000 miles so i dont really want another one any ideas?

i have a 52 plate 172cup and when its warm it missfires under load
i replace
1. spark plugs (ngk plugs)
2. coil pack
3. HT leads
4. both lambdas
5. ECU coolent temp sensor
6. MAP sensor
when i replaced the MAP sensor it ran fine for 300miles then all of a sudden on saturday on my way bak from...
i have a 52 plate 172 cup with now has a bent conrod.. ive got a new short motor arriving soon and was wondering the best way to remove the lump... is it through the top unbolting the bellhousing bolt etc etc or is it engine and box through the bottom?

on sat nite i drove through a puddle and my cup wouldnt start after cutting out.. im a mechanic so i new what the outcome was going to be... i removed the head tonite to find that number 2 conrod is bent.... the head is fine so ive just brought myself a new short motor.. wheres the best place...
:mad: My own fault went through a big puddle last nite in my 172 cup it cut out and now it wont start. the starter motor is just clicking like a flat battery.... the alturnator is soaking wet though waiting for it to dry out....
any ideas peeps

hey guys once again the cup has let me down...... i was driving down the bypass when a water hose blew in two. its the hose coming from the heater matrix..... is this a common fault and does anyone no how much the pipe is?

hey guys i own a 52 plate clio cup and last nite i was driving home when my engine management light flicked up and my car went into limp mode and wouldnt restart (at 1am)!:mad: i recovered the cup to were i work and plugged it into my scanner the fault code was

took my gearbox out of my cup on saturday sent it away to be rebuilt today just found out that 3rd gear has split into two, 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th selecters are fcuked and it needs a full set of bearings and seals.
hey guys just after advice were the best place in the northwest is to have my 172 cup gearbox rebuilt as its grinding going into 3rd 4th and now 5th? :mad: my cars a 52 model

hey guys my mark 2 172 cup has decided to throw 3rd and 4th gear!!!
im getting the box rebuild next week and i was wundering what the best clutch as my cup is running at 200bhp?
