Haha, as i mentioned on friday night - my cambelt snapped... well.... more sheered the teeth off and slipped, which was a bit of a saving grace. However, it just bent up some exhaust valves which i have now replaced and given the top end a good clean and some loving(£200 worth of loving). But...

my dad was driving down the motorway earlier in my car, slowing down for traffic and the cambelt snapped. My best guess is that now the engine is totally fuxxed. I just had to join the AA, aswell. You might be able to tell that i'm really pissed off, as now im left with no f**king car...

Right, i have a mark1, phase 3. i robbed a dash with rev counter etc. from a mark 1 phase 1/2 1.4. at a scrappy and threw it in my car today. i got all the wiring for everything else, all the lights work on the dash etc(apart from the rear foggies). However, i can't get the rev counter working...

Umm, basically, i have a Mark 1 Phase 3 (P plate - '96) I wanna central lock it. Make life so much easier, just wonderring if anyone reccomends going for the full kit with the alarm or just the locking actuators? Also, while im on this post anyone got any electric window mech's up for sale...
