am getting my car ready for sale and need to make a few changes
1. replace frong splitter
2. fix front seat (deosnt go forward - cable has snapped)
3. swap dcat for standard CAT
any ideas on how much this would cost for parts and labour?

am looking at replacing my 172 cup splitter, is a little scuffed and am selling the car so want it in the best possible condition
anyone know where to get one? how much it will cost, and how tricky it is to fit?
my exhaust doesnt sound and raw and isnt popping as much as it used to, it sounds more standard than anything, just wondering if they could have put it on wrong
or if the ecu has changed the timing for the mot?
any feedback would be great
Have bought a new GDI exhaust system for my cup with a Jansport Deca, just wondering how long it would roughtly take to full bed in,
ive heard that the sound changes the longer you have them fitted
firstly is it a big problem removing the existing one with the air bag and everything?
how much protection does an airbag give you? is it a really important saftey feature or can it be lost?
how long would it take to swap the steering wheels?

I ordered a GDI exhaust system in the group buy and had it fitted today, the jouney was long and frustrating, took 3 1/2 hours from j10 M25,
but definetly well worth it!
was really good to actually watch the exahaust going on.
I also got a chance to see the GDI 182 and went for a ride in...

have heard various things about removing the acoustic valve, but dont really get it
is it a big job labour wise
what increases does it make
and fundermentaly is it worth it?

was thinking about getting either sportslines or prolines for my 172 cup but only wanted to do it if it improves the day to day handling of the car, basiclly am not doing it for cosmetic reasons, also does have the car lower mean that you would have less traction in the wet? - now that might be...

Have only had my 172cup for a day and have noticed that i have to press on the bake pedal alot hard to get the same results. brakes dont feel as strong as my 172FF
is this normal in a cup or do you think i may need new disks / pads - was thinking when i take it into for the service to get some...
have just got a set of michilen pe2's on the front and some worn pretty good tyres on the back, the car feels less grippy is this normal after just having the tryes fitted?

crash my car last week, very frustrating was such a low impact crash, unfortunatly bent the subframe and chasis and was quoted 4600 for the fix, so the insurance company wrote the car off and gave me 6k for it which wasnt terrible, was worth probably about 500 more!
