Well had the 197 for about 6 months now. Loving it! So far i have lowered it on H&R springs, Red stuff front pads, Sprayed the wheels, Painted the calipers to match the body. And the NBR sticker on the boot lid and the dash :) Comments welcome

Does anyone know how much these alloys cost from Renault? I'm talking about the new ones found on the 197 Cup :)

When my engine is warm some times the car will not rev past about 5.5k. It stutters and the over revving light comes on. Had it into Renault no faults showing on the computer. Any ideas??

I have a 172Cup, my mate has offered me ROTA rims with a offset of et45. Will they fit??

What are best for the 172 Clio?

When i am driving the car, say second gear for example. The car hits the usual pick up point at about 5k, but then shortly after about 6k the car seems to stutter and hit some sort of limater. It is quite violent and would throw you forward and back in your seat, anyone any ideas????

I have replaced my dog bone mount. Still getting a knocking noise. How do you know if the other mounts are dead?

Was getting a bad knocking noise in 1st and 2nd. Replaced lower engine mount with a poly-flex bush from K-tec. This has not worked. The noise is now very bad. Any ideas??? Could it be driveshafts? If so would they not make a noise in third, forth and fifth? Any comments welcome, my local...

Thinking of geting a pipercross Viper filter for my Cup. I have noticed that a few people on Cliosport have the air intake in the front lower grill. Is this easy to do?

What sort of miles do these need replaced at? I have a 172, what would be the best make. Was thinking of Bosch super 4s. I think the standard fitted plugs are NGK. :confused:

I have to replace the clucth on my 92 valver and on my 02 172Cup. Any hints into what one would be easier. Then ill start with that. Any hints would be helpfull. ;)

Got it done yesterday. Not so much a chip, it is more a RE-MAP. Feels good, bit more power at low revs. The cost, is it worth it??? Still not sure? but it does feel more drive-able. ;) Ill get it round the track soon and make sure it has done the job!

I had a set of Turinis on my 172 Cup. They are now gone. Thinking of buying a new set in a darker finish tho. Is the offset 42 or 35?

Bought a Sparco brace, I have noticed the strut towers will need drilled to support the mounts. Has anyone done this? Is it risky? Any one got pics of the finished result? Any help would be greatly received, thanks.

Driving along last night, not even goin quick. Front end started to make clunking noise, then it felt like the front right starting twitching. AA came out and got the car recovered, its not the drive shaft of brakes, think the diff is on the way to the big grave yard in the sky. Not good:cry:

Have a 2002 Clio 172Cup. Going into corners at slow speed there is a bad knocking noise, from the front end. Renault have looked at it, but do not seem to have done much. Any ideas?:confused:
